Boarding & Training Requirements
To keep every dog’s stay safe, structured, and productive, the following policies apply to all Boarding, Board & Bootcamp, and Board & Train programs.
Age & Health
Dogs must be at least 5 months old (some exceptions may be allowed) and fully vaccinated (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella).
Flea and tick prevention must be current and active for the duration of the stay.
Temperament & Training
All dogs must be familiar with being kenneled.
Dogs must be comfortable with normal household sounds and routines.
Separation anxiety: Boarding, Bootcamp, and Board & Train programs are not suitable for dogs struggling with separation or confinement anxiety. These cases are best addressed through In-Home Private Lessons, where we can work on confidence and independence in the dog’s familiar environment.
Aggression: Cases are evaluated individually.
Dogs showing dog-to-dog reactivity or aggression can often be safely boarded or included in a bootcamp or board & train.
Dogs showing aggression toward people, including handlers, must begin with private lessons before being considered for boarding or training programs.
Eligibility
Boarding is available to returning or established training clients.
New clients must complete an initial lesson or Boarding & Training Consultation before scheduling their first stay.
Scheduling & Stay Limits
Standard Boarding and Bootcamp stays are up to three weeks.
Board & Train programs have designated durations (4 weeks/6 weeks).
