Operation Good Dog LLC – In-Home Training Service Agreement
(v1.1 – November 2025)
This Agreement is between Client (defined by the name on the purchase form), their dog(s) (hereafter “Dog”), and Luke Braith, acting as agent for Operation Good Dog LLC (hereafter “Trainer”).
1. TRAINING FEES & CANCELLATION POLICY
Client agrees to pay Trainer a non-refundable fee based on the selected service(s). Training sessions typically run 60–90 minutes, though duration may vary due to the Dog’s needs, environmental factors, or training progress. Trainer may arrive up to 15 minutes later than scheduled due to traffic or travel conditions.
2. RESCHEDULE POLICY
Client is allowed three (3) reschedules per package or purchase. If Client fails to give at least 24 hours notice, or is not present at the scheduled appointment time, they forfeit that lesson. Forfeited lessons are not rescheduled or refunded.
If proper notice is given, the appointment may be rescheduled. Trainer reserves the right to reschedule at any time due to weather, illness, emergency, unsafe conditions, or other personal reasons.
All purchased sessions expire 6 months after the purchase date, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
3. DOG HEALTH AND VACCINATIONS
Client warrants that the Dog is physically fit, in good health, and free of fleas, ticks, parasites, and infectious diseases.
Client agrees to maintain up-to-date vaccinations including, but not limited to:
• Rabies
• DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvo, parainfluenza)
• Bordetella (kennel cough)
Vaccination proof must be provided before the first appointment.
Client acknowledges that training outdoors and in public spaces may expose their Dog to natural environmental risks (ticks, wildlife, allergens, and common canine pathogens such as giardia), and accepts responsibility for maintaining appropriate preventatives.
4. TRAINING SERVICES
Trainer agrees to provide private, in-home instruction with the goal of teaching the Client how to work with and train the Dog.
Trainer will use modern, humane, and balanced training methods grounded in positive reinforcement and LIMA principles. Additional tools or techniques may be introduced if appropriate for clarity, safety, or effective communication.
Trainer will make every reasonable effort to help Client achieve their goals; however, Trainer makes no guarantee regarding the Dog’s behavior, performance, or future outcomes. Success requires daily practice, consistency, and follow-through from the Client and all household members.
Client agrees not to alter or modify Trainer’s instructions during the program unless directed by Trainer.
5. RELEASE OF LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION
Client understands that dog training, handling, and behavior modification carry inherent risks for themselves, household members, third parties, and the Dog.
Client accepts all risks associated with training and agrees not to hold Trainer liable for:
Injury to Client, family members, visitors, or Dog
Damages or injuries caused by the Dog before, during, or after training
Results of following or failing to follow Trainer’s instructions
Unforeseen behavioral regression or escalation
Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Operation Good Dog LLC, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from all claims, liabilities, damages, expenses, or losses (including attorney’s fees) arising from the Dog’s behavior, actions, or participation in training.
This includes any incident occurring during sessions or outside of sessions after training recommendations have been provided.
6. PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE
Client grants Trainer permission to photograph and/or video record Client and Dog, and to use such media—without restriction—for marketing, education, social media, advertising, or other lawful business purposes. No compensation is provided for such use.
