Operation Good Dog LLC — Boarding & Bootcamp Service Agreement (v1.2 – November 2025)

This agreement is between the Client (as identified on the request form), their dog(s) (hereinafter “Dog”), and Luke Braith or any employee or agent acting on behalf of Operation Good Dog LLC (hereinafter “Trainer”). This agreement governs all boarding and Bootcamp (board-and-train) services.

1. Dog Health & Vaccinations
Client warrants that Dog is in good health, free from contagious illness, parasites, and fleas. Proof of current vaccinations (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella) is required before boarding.

Dogs must also be on active flea and tick prevention from March through November.

Operation Good Dog reserves the right to refuse service to any dog showing signs of illness, injury, or unsafe behavior.

2. Age, Temperament & Eligibility
All dogs must be comfortable being kenneled, and able to safely handle a home-based boarding environment. Dogs showing aggression toward people must complete private lessons prior to any boarding or training stay.

3. Veterinary Care Authorization
If Dog becomes ill or injured, Trainer will make reasonable efforts to contact Client before seeking care. If unreachable, Trainer is authorized to obtain veterinary services as deemed necessary by a licensed veterinarian, up to $5,000 at Client’s expense.

Trainer may use the Client’s preferred veterinarian if available; otherwise, another qualified clinic will be chosen. Client agrees to reimburse all veterinary expenses promptly.

4. Payment & Cancellation Policy
Full payment or a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure boarding dates. Cancellations within seven (7) days of the start date may forfeit the deposit or be subject to a cancellation fee.

Dog will not be released until all outstanding balances are paid in full.

5. Training Services (Bootcamp)
Bootcamp services include daily training sessions focused on Client’s stated goals. Trainer will make every reasonable effort to help achieve those goals but cannot guarantee specific results or behavior outcomes.

Positive reinforcement is the foundation of training, supplemented by a balanced approach when appropriate. Tools such as slip leads, prong collars, or e-collars may be introduced thoughtfully to support clear communication.

6. Liability & Risk Acknowledgment
Client understands that boarding or training involves inherent risks, including potential injury, illness, or stress. Client voluntarily assumes all known and unknown risks associated with Dog’s stay.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Operation Good Dog LLC, its owners, and employees are not liable for injury, illness, or death of Dog during care, including interactions with other dogs, environmental factors, or unforeseen circumstances.

Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Operation Good Dog LLC, its owners, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from Dog’s stay.

6a. Environmental Exposure & Health Risks

Client acknowledges that Operation Good Dog LLC operates on a rural property where dogs may be exposed to natural environmental factors such as wildlife (including but not limited to deer, skunks, raccoons, and rodents), insects, and vegetation.

Despite reasonable safety and sanitation measures, there is an inherent risk of exposure to environmental conditions or pathogens including, but not limited to, ticks, fleas, mosquitoes, and parasites such as Giardia or Coccidia.

Operation Good Dog LLC takes proactive steps to minimize these risks—including maintaining clean facilities, treating the property for pests, and requiring current flea/tick prevention—but cannot guarantee prevention of all possible exposure.

Client agrees that such environmental risks are inherent to outdoor activity and rural boarding, and releases Operation Good Dog LLC, its owners, employees, and agents from liability for any illness, injury, or veterinary expense resulting from such exposures.

7. Photo & Media Release
Client grants permission for photos or videos of Dog to be used by Operation Good Dog LLC for lawful purposes including education, advertising, or social media. Clients may opt out of this release by written request prior to drop-off.

8. Ongoing Agreement for Future Services
By signing this Agreement, Client acknowledges and agrees that this Agreement applies to all future boarding or Bootcamp services provided by Operation Good Dog LLC unless replaced or amended in writing.
