Operation Good Dog LLC — Boarding & Bootcamp Service Agreement

(v1.1 – November 2025)

This agreement is between the Client (as identified on the request form), their dog(s) (hereinafter “Dog”), and Luke Braith, or any employee or agent acting on behalf of Operation Good Dog LLC (hereinafter “Trainer”).
This agreement governs all Boarding and Bootcamp (short-term board-and-train) services.

1. Dog Health & Vaccinations
Client warrants that Dog is in good health, free from fleas, parasites, and contagious illness. Proof of current vaccinations is required prior to boarding: Rabies, DHPP, Lyme and Bordetella. Dogs must also remain on active flea and tick prevention from March through November. Operation Good Dog LLC reserves the right to deny service to any dog showing signs of illness, injury, or unsafe behavior.

2. Age, Temperament & Eligibility

  • All dogs must be comfortable being kenneled.

  • Dogs must be able to safely handle a home-based environment, normal household noise, and routine handling.

  • Dogs showing aggression toward people must complete private lessons prior to eligibility for boarding or Bootcamp.

  • Dogs with severe separation anxiety or confinement distress may not be suitable for boarding or Bootcamp.

Boarding is available only to returning or established training clients, unless otherwise approved.

3. Veterinary Care Authorization
If Dog becomes ill or injured during the stay, Trainer will make reasonable efforts to contact Client before seeking care. If Client is unreachable, Trainer is authorized to obtain veterinary services as deemed necessary by a licensed veterinarian, up to $5,000, at Client’s expense. Client agrees to reimburse all veterinary expenses promptly.

4. Payment & Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable deposit or payment in full may be required to reserve boarding dates. Cancellations within seven (7) days of the start date may result in forfeiture of the deposit or payment. Any remaining balance must be paid in full before or at the time of drop-off. Operation Good Dog LLC will not accept Dog into the program until full payment has been received.Dog will not be released until all outstanding balances are paid in full.

5. Training Services (Bootcamp)
Bootcamp includes structured daily practice sessions based on the Client’s stated goals. Trainer will make every reasonable effort to help the Dog progress, but no specific behavior outcome or guarantee is made. Training uses positive reinforcement as the foundation, with a balanced approach when appropriate. Tools such as slip leads, prong collars, or e-collars may be introduced if beneficial for clarity and communication.

6. Liability & Risk Acknowledgment
Client understands that boarding and training involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • injury

  • illness

  • stress

  • exposure to outdoor conditions

  • interactions with other dogs

Client voluntarily assumes all known and unknown risks associated with boarding or training at Operation Good Dog LLC. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Operation Good Dog LLC, its owners, agents, and employees are not liable for any injury, illness, or death of Dog during care. Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Operation Good Dog LLC from all claims, damages, or expenses arising out of Dog’s behavior or stay.

6a. Environmental Exposure & Health Risks
Operation Good Dog LLC operates on a rural property where dogs may encounter:

  • wildlife (skunks, raccoons, deer, rodents)

  • insects

  • natural vegetation

  • bodies of water or moist terrain

Despite proactive safety measures, dogs may be exposed to:

  • ticks or fleas

  • mosquitoes

  • parasites (including Giardia or Coccidia)

  • environmental allergens

Client acknowledges these risks and agrees that such exposure is inherent to outdoor activity. Operation Good Dog LLC cannot guarantee prevention of all environmental risks and is not liable for any related veterinary expenses.

7. Photo & Media Release
Client grants permission for photos or videos of Dog to be used by Operation Good Dog LLC for lawful purposes including advertising, education, and social media. Client may opt out with a written request prior to drop-off.

8. Ongoing Agreement for Future Services
By signing this agreement, Client acknowledges that it applies to all future boarding or Bootcamp services unless replaced or amended in writing. A new signature is not required for each stay.
